Yahoo News Corrie bombshell as Todd makes new Billy discovery
Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) will get a big shock next week when he investigates his partner Billy Mayhew's (Daniel Brocklebank) criminal past.
With Billy consumed with guilt over his lies about the armed robbery he was involved in during his youth, Todd urges him to get a grip for Summer's sake and promises to do some research about the crash that his boyfriend caused all those years ago.
Having contacted a private investigator, Todd's horror is palpable as he reads the details in the report. Fans will have to wait and see what he finds out, but either way, he disguises his shock when he later lies to Billy – assuring him that he's done some digging and no one died in the crash.
Billy is overcome with relief by the news, but Todd's subsequent behaviour soon leaves him suspicious that something is playing on his mind.
Determined to take matters into his own hands, Billy decides to track down a man called Gareth and arranges to meet up with him. Unfortunately, the meeting doesn't go according to plan as Gareth reacts angrily when Billy suggests they do the decent thing and go to the police about the accident.
Billy is left shaken when Gareth warns him to keep his mouth shut – or else – and ultimately decides it's time to move on from the whole ordeal.
Acknowledging he can't change the past, he throws himself into shaping the future – starting with bringing Ken and the Barlow family back together.
However, when Adam asks to borrow Todd's laptop, he is shocked when he sees what he has been searching for in his browser history. Is Adam about to discover Todd's secret? And more to the point, what is it?
Recent reports have suggested that Ken's daughter Susan Barlow was the victim of the historical accident, but viewers will have to keep watching to find out if that's right.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
