Yahoo News Corrie comeuppance as Ken's attacker gets arrested
Ken Barlow's attacker will finally get their comeuppance in dramatic Coronation Street scenes next week.
Soap legend Ken (Bill Roache) was pushed down the stairs by a mystery person in March and viewers have been left to guess over the identity of the culprit ever since.
Viewers can expect to see the storyline come to a head in this Friday's double bill as Ken's memories from that night return, before all of the fallout plays out in next week's special set of 9pm episodes.
As next week's episodes begin, Ken is still trying to piece together a heated argument that he had on the night of his attack as his memories continue to come flooding back.
Ken then realises in horror that it was indeed one of his family members who pushed him, so he faces up to the shifty individual in question and demands answers.
Viewers will have to wait and see whether Ken is putting himself in even more danger by confronting his enemy, but justice looks set to be served either way when the person in question gets arrested for attempted murder.
Realising the game is up, Ken's attacker even tells the police they want to make a full confession, but will he or she be charged? And what does this mean for the Barlow family?
Coronation Street airs at 9pm all next week on ITV.
