Coronation Street's Anna Windass gets framed for attempted murder next week, after Seb Franklin suffers a horror fall from a ladder.
The life-or-death drama takes place in the wake of a huge argument between Anna and Seb, giving her a possible motive for wanting to get rid of him forever.
Early next week, Seb (Harry Visinoni) finally confides in his girlfriend Faye Windass about his awful home life after she gets suspicious over his secretive behavour.
Seb even tries to show Faye (Ellie Leach) the terrible state of his house, but when they arrive, they're alarmed to find his mum Abi unconscious after an overdose.
When Abi is rushed to hospital for emergency treatment, it's not long before social services get involved following a tip-off.
This results in Seb's young brother and sister being taken into care – and he bitterly blames Anna (Debbie Rush) as he accuses her of being the one who made the call.
Anna is quick to suggest that her old enemy Pat Phelan must be stirring things up, but whether anyone will be prepared to believe her remains to be seen.
Later on, Seb is doing a window-cleaning round when he suffers a terrifying fall from his ladder.
The nasty incident leaves Seb's life hanging in the balance and the big question in the aftermath is whether he fell or if he was pushed.
When the police come calling on the cobbles, Phelan seizes this chance to try framing Anna for trying to kill Seb.
Will his latest cunning plan pay off?
