Tonight's episodes (December 6) of Coronation Street saw Mary finally get her justice, as it was revealed she wasn't responsible for harming baby George.
But, duh. Most viewers already knew that.
The flower shop worker had come under increasing scrutiny from George's parents Jude and Angie, who believed Mary was hurting her grandson while looking after him.
However, as tonight proved, Mary is not responsible for whatever health scare is plaguing baby George as he fell ill while being cared for by Bethany, finally leading the Appletons to realise Mary has been innocent all along.
So, it was a good episode for Mary. But things aren't looking so good for poor old baby George.
The tot was taken off in an ambulance at the end of tonight's later episode, with his fate still uncertain, and viewers are very concerned – although they are relieved that Mary is in the clear.
Glad that it was known not to be Mary. My guess is that the baby is allergic to Banana #Corrie- Lj (@LaurenShorty93) December 6, 2017

Right Angie I think you owe our Mary an apology. Thank you!
Some have a new theory about what's going on with baby George:
Its the banana then making George sick surely the hospital should have found this out shame I wanted it to be Angie that was hurting him #Corrie- Arlene Woollard (@Arlene_HWycombe) December 6, 2017
I’m no doctor but George is allergic to bananas #Corrie- lynn graham (@lgchoc1971) December 6, 2017
