Corrie fans 'expose' Cassie Plummer's real intentions for Ken Barlow
Coronation Street fans have voiced their disgust after 'exposing' Cassie Plummer's scheme involving Ken Barlow.
Cassie, portrayed by Claire Sweeney, made her debut on the cobbles in 2023 as Tyrone Dobbs' (Alan Halsall) estranged mother and quickly became a fan favourite embroiled in drama.
Recently in the soap, Ken Barlow, played by William Roache, had a severe fall necessitating a carer for his injuries. The expense of a professional carer was too much for the Barlow family, leading them to hire Cassie Plummer despite her lack of formal qualifications.

Since then, Ken and Cassie have become close friends. Ken has grown fond of her, and it's evident that Cassie is relishing her role caring for him, reports the Express.
However, last month, Cassie discovered that Ken had won £50k from premium bonds. Ken subsequently shared the news with her, leaving Cassie overjoyed.
She then convinced him to splurge some of his winnings on an extravagant holiday abroad, suggesting he could take someone along. She promptly volunteered herself.
Now, with Cassie aware that Ken has tens of thousands of pounds, viewers believe they've 'figured out' her plan for Ken - and it doesn't bode well.
On X, one viewer voiced their suspicion: "Ken, use your brain, Cassie has money on her mind...and wants it in her bank."
Another commented exasperatedly: "Ffs Ken wake up! the only person Cassie wants Ken to give his money to is HER! " A third added their opinion boldly: "Cassie definitely going to rip both Amy and Ken out of his money."
Meanwhile, some fans are speculating about a potential romantic twist for Cassie and Ken, as one viewer predicted: "Ken is going to propose to Cassie." A second suggested with some excitement: "Ken fancies Heroin Cassie."
Echoing the sentiment, a third stated: "Ken and Cassie to get together? How gross! " While another looked ahead amusedly: "Evelyn as Ken's latest mother-in-law? At last, a worthy successor to Blanche."
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
