Yahoo News Corrie lines up wedding surprise for Sinead and Daniel
Coronation Street is lining up another wedding for Sinead Tinker and Daniel Osbourne, but sadly, it may be a day tinged with tragedy.
The couple tied the knot in an unofficial ceremony last year, and have always maintained that one day they will do it officially.
After going through a tough year, Sinead will decide to spring the surprise romantic gesture on Daniel like he did for her before.
But unfortunately, Sinead is set to receive some devastating news about her cancer. Coupled with the news that the actress who plays her, Katie McGlynn, is tipped to leave the show soon, it doesn't sound good.
There's also the fact that Daniel has been getting close to Bethany Platt recently. All in all, it looks like the odds are highly stacked against them having the happiest day of their lives.
According to tabloid reports, Sinead will be told that none of the treatment is working and face the choice of whether or not to move to a hospice.
Back in January, McGlynn admitted there was a "50/50" chance that she'd be leaving Coronation Street once her contract expired later in the year.
ITV did not confirm or deny any rumours, stating: "Katie is fully committed to playing out the extremely important storyline she is currently portraying on screen.
"This story still has a long way to go. Any speculation threatens to undermine the storyline for viewers."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
