Fans have long suspected Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) of pushing her grandfather Ken down the stairs, and now it seems Coronation Street has finally listened to their suspicions.
The ITV soap now officially lists Amy as a suspect in Ken's attempted murder on their website, citing a number of factors such as her failure to turn up to her violin recital that was scheduled for the same evening of the attack.
Fans have considered the young Barlow ever since the family gathered in hospital and Amy looked rather shifty.
She now joins her mum Tracy, as well as Adam Barlow, Peter Barlow, Daniel Osbourne and Sinead Tinker on the official list of suspects, after Phelan was taken out of the running when video footage gave him an alibi.
It comes as scenes next week will see Amy tip off detectives to check fingerprints on a new worktop that Pat Phelan fitted just before Ken's fall, leading Tracy to also have her suspicions about her daughter's involvement in the attack.
Amy's tip-off leads detectives to arrest Adam for Ken's attempted murder due to his fingerprints being on the worktop, and he may also find it difficult to defend himself after lying about being in Canada when the attack took place.
However, when Amy tells her mother about her tip-off, Tracy starts to wonder whether her daughter is really covering her own tracks.
