Coronation Street's Eva Price will leave Weatherfield without saying goodbye to her family next week.

Eva makes the drastic decision after realising that she needs a clean break following weeks of drama surrounding Aidan Connor's suicide and who should bring up baby Susie.

Next week, Eva continues to receive strong support from her ex-boyfriend Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson), who still has feelings for her despite their split five months ago.

Adam even offers Eva a room at his flat, knowing that she's about to move out from The Rovers due to Peter Barlow selling up.

Much to Adam's surprise, Eva refuses his kind offer and announces a very different plan for her future – leaving Weatherfield for good.

Eva tells Adam that she needs to put some distance between herself and her family, as Toyah Battersby grew too attached to Susie during their time together.

Adam is heartbroken that he could be about to lose Eva forever and confides in his uncle Daniel Osbourne, who advises him to follow his heart before it's too late. Could Adam make one last play for Eva before she goes?

Later on, Leanne and Toyah are heartbroken to find a letter from Eva saying she has left quietly. But did Adam go with her? And is it really the last time we'll see Eva?

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva, announced her Corrie exit last year and filmed her final scenes in June.

In a recent TV interview, Catherine confirmed that her final scenes will air in August, so it seems likely that next week's drama won't be the last time her character will feature on screen. As ever, watch this space for more...

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, July 27 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
