Yahoo News Corrie star teases Steve and Tracy Christmas fling
Two car crashes are going to collide in Coronation Street this Christmas, and we don't mean in the literal sense.
Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow are going to end up doing the rumpy pumpy after what we presume is a heavy night on the eggnog, but will it lead to anything more?
Simon Gregson has been teasing the storyline in an interview with The Sun, where he said: "Steve could mellow Tracy but it's doubtful.
"I can't see it lasting, maybe I should ring my agent after this. Putting Steve with Tracy could be the end of him!"
Not only will Steve and Tracy not get back together following their hook up, but Steve will realise he's still got eyes for Michelle when the two go out on New Year's Eve.
"That's what we're playing at the moment," he added.
"They go out for a meal at the bistro and Steve spends most of his time looking at Michelle, which doesn't really go down too well."
This may be bad news for fans hoping to see Steve and Tracy give it another go, but at least the couple's daughter Amy will be a lot happier – the teen really is not impressed at all when she finds out about her parents' hook up.
Coronation Street airs Steve and Tracy's reunion on Friday, December 22 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
