Corrie teases big blunder from Gail as Lorraine Kelly makes a cameo

Coronation Street is airing at 9pm this week in between the Britain's Got Talent live shows, and ITV is making it more of an event by featuring a cameo from one of the channel's biggest names.

The Platt family head off to a holiday park for the week, when Gail hears that Lorraine star Lorraine Kelly is also staying there and endeavours to meet her.

Thinking Lorraine is out on a pedalo, Gail ropes in Sarah and Bethany to pursue her. But as this clip shows, they've made a terrible mistake:

Ben Price, who plays Nick in the soap, has said that Lorraine will be involved in a "stunt". Is Gail going to go overboard, forcing Lorraine to jump in and save her? You'll have to find out by tuning in this week.

This is the least of the Platt family's worries this week, as the truth over Audrey's missing money will be revealed, leading to plenty of drama.

Meanwhile, the identity of the Underworld roof saboteur will be revealed and Carla Connor will take centre stage in a special mental health episode.

Coronation Street airs every night this week at 9pm on ITV.
