Corrie's Daisy crushed by setback against stalker Justin

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Daisy Midgeley has had a crushing setback in her court battle against stalker Justin in Coronation Street.

One of the most difficult weeks in Daisy's life has seen stalker Justin break into her home and then goad Daniel Osbourne into punching him.

Friday's episode (March 10) saw Daisy trying to use legal means to keep Justin away from her by obtaining a Stalking Protection Order against him during a court hearing.

Daisy was at first hopeful since she woke up without receiving any more abusive messages from the stalker, though she was still kept in the dark over Daniel beating Justin the previous night.

Daniel had begged attorney Adam Barlow not to share the truth with Daisy ahead of her big hearing. As the hearing got under way, both Daisy and attorney Dee-Dee reported to the court how Justin had been terrorising her.

However, Justin turned up at the court with a neckbrace, claiming he'd been assaulted by Daniel after simply trying to make friends with Daisy.

The judge crushed Daisy's hopes for protection by denying her application for an SPO in light of the allegations Justin was making against Daniel.

Daisy was understandably furious with Daniel after her application was denied, especially when Justin turned up at the pub begging Daisy to marry him instead of Daniel.

"I will never love you, you're a freak," Daisy told Justin. "You should be locked up somewhere, so you get away from me, you vile little man."

With Justin still on the loose, Daisy told Daniel that she felt she had no other choice but to move back into the Rovers for protection. When Daniel questioned her about their upcoming wedding, she broke his heart by admitting she was no longer sure she wanted to marry him.
