Corrie's Sally Lindsay confuses Tenable fans as she steps in to host

Coronation Street's Sally Lindsay left Tenable viewers confused when she popped up as host during this afternoon's episode (April 12).

Those tuning in to ITV at 3pm today were baffled to see the former soap star in presenter Warwick Davis's place, and were quick to take to Twitter to voice their confusion.

"She's probably a lovely person, but I'm just not feeling it without Warwick," one person wrote, as a second tweeted: "Come back in from a walk and put #tenable on.. I already miss Warwick!

"I don't think I can continue watching with Sally... it's just not Tenable without him."

"Started panicking when Warwick Davis wasn't hosting #Tenable today but super excited to find out that he's off filming the sequel to #Willow. Yay," a third fan said, while a fourth gushed: "@sally_lindsay is doing a great job sharing presenting duties for #Tenable."

Earlier today, Davis had taken to social media himself to explain why he'd be absent.

"When you tune in to @Tenable at 3pm on @itv today, you'll notice I look a lot like the fabulous @sally_lindsay," he began. "Sally is stepping into my hosting shoes for a run of shows while I'm in pre-production for another project.

"With this change, You can be assured of 2 things - the jokes won't be as bad and the show will have a touch more glamour! Thanks for your continued support. Cheers! Break a leg Sally! x"
