Yahoo News Corrie's Seb to be left devastated over Alina discovery
Coronation Street is lining up new heartbreak for Seb Franklin as he discovers that his new love interest Alina Pop has lied to him.
Show bosses have announced plans to explore a modern slavery storyline with Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu), who was brought over to the UK as part of an Eastern European human trafficking ring.
Recent episodes have seen Seb's budding romance with Alina mysteriously torn apart, but he's about to realise that all is not actually as it seems with her.
Seb was left confused when Alina suddenly broke off their relationship and the mystery quickly thickened when her boss told him that she'd suddenly quit her job at the nail bar.
Things later got even stranger when builder Jan Lozinski, who has a secret link to Alina, separately warned both her and Seb to keep their distance from each other.
Upcoming scenes will see the mystery surrounding Alina brought back to the forefront when Sally takes Abi for a manicure at the place where she supposedly no longer works.
After learning from Abi that still working at the nail salon, Seb is upset to think she lied in order to avoid him. Will he discover what's really going on?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, July 26 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
