New York Comic Con is in the rear view mirror, we're fast approaching London's MCM Comic-Con, but there could be another major event added to the movie calendar soon.
Marvel big boss Kevin Feige has said there's been talk about introducing a Marvel-only convention in the style of the annual Star Wars Celebration.
Talking to Fandango, Feige said: "Over the years, there have been discussions about that. I think what we try to do occasionally in San Diego we're very proud of and think is a fun tradition.
"That being said, I think [Star Wars] Celebration is pretty amazing. I've been to a few Celebrations and the idea of doing something like that... I think we have enough content, and enough fans, and enough ideas that we could easily do something like that, I'm just not sure where or when."
Disney already has its own convention D23, which happens every two years. But after a raft of acquisitions, Disney is now so massive it easily has enough material for multiple conventions.
(Disney, of course, includes Disney animation, Pixar, Lucasfilm and Marvel, covering Star Wars and Indiana Jones as well as the far-reaching Marvel Universe.)
The MCU has released 16 movies since Iron Man in 2008 with a whole heap more on the slate leading right up to 2020. Then there's the TV shows, with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Defenders and more, meaning opportunities for panels, reveals and talent access are huge.
Will this dilute the appeal of San Diego Comic-Con? Quite possibly, though an event which is a bit smaller and more targeted could well be better for fans.
