British couture house Ralph & Russo's show is always a highlight of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week schedule.
Yesterday's SS18 presentation was a dazzling array of feathers, crystals and miles upon miles of tulle.
And the fairytale finale was the duchess satin bridal gown. A ruched floral creation, hand embroidered with pearlescent beads, 3D Swarovski jewelled leaves and silk flowers and intricate metallic silk thread-work.
Modelled by Brazilian blogger Camila Coelho, this was most definitely a wedding gown fit for a princess.
Given Meghan Markle chose to wear a Ralph and Russo dress for the official engagement photos in December, we can't help but wonder if the dynamic Australian duo might be the lucky ones chosen to design her wedding dress.
As the first British couture house to be invited to show on the Paris Couture schedule in more than 100 years, Ralph & Russo would certainly be a fitting choice for British royalty.
The sheer black chiffon and tulle gown she wore for the engagement shoot was from the brand's AW17 collection, and featured a rather racy sheer black top with gold leaf embroidery, and a full black silk organza skirt.
Not only was the choice of dress significant in cementing Markle's status as a thoroughly modern royal, but also underscored her intention to promote British brands.
While , of course, we don't yet know what Markle will choose to wear, yesterday's Ralph & Russo show most definitely gave her some options.
We can see Meghan walking the aisle in St George's chapel in this pale mint strapless silk organza ballgown. The structural and modern design, which features organza ribbon embroidery and 3D flowers, embellished with metallic silver crystals, is definitely in keeping with Meghan's style.
The neckline of this ice blue silk organza ball gown would suit Meghan's petite frame. The dress features a hand painted floral bodice and appliquéd petal skirt, embellished with pearls, Swarovski crystals, silk thread-work and opal stones.
Admittedly this asymmetric ruffled silk chiffon and metallic foiled Chantilly lace gown might be a little raunchy for the palace, but Meghan has thus far not been one to shy away from breaking with convention, so we're not ruling it out.
Alternatively the Suits star could get back in character with this white crêpe suit, embellished with 3D orchid petals and crystals.
Our bets however firmly rest with the standout gown of the show
Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo certainly aren't giving the game away.
