Access All Eirias concerts have brought some massive names to Colwyn Bay for more than a decade. From Tom Jones to Little Mix and Elton John the gigs brought thousands to the stadium in the seaside town.

It brought a summer feelgood factor to the town and helped bring in money as part of the efforts to regenerate the area. But there are no concerts organised for this year much to the disappointment of many in the community and wider area.

The stadium is owned by Conwy County Borough Council but the events were organised by Orchard Live. The company ceased trading at the end of summer 2023. They said: "Despite the best efforts of a very talented team, Orchard Live has been unable to recover from the consequences of the pandemic, and, after exploring all possible strategies to avoid this action, has made the difficult decision to put Orchard Live into creditors voluntary liquidation."

The council explained that this is behind the lack of concerts this year - with no new promoter coming forward as yet to pick up the mantle. The local authority said it will actively promote the stadium and that it would be available for hire for anyone wanting to bring concerts back.

A spokesperson said: "The Access All Eirias concerts at Parc Eirias were organised by concert promoters Orchard Live. Conwy County Borough Council was one of the sponsors. Unfortunately, Orchard Live ceased trading last year.

"We have taken advantage of the downtime to refurbish the athletics track at the stadium, which is currently underway. Going forward, the stadium and events centre are available for hire to promoters and event organisers, and we will continue to actively promote the centre to relevant organisations."
