The ‘Burnin Down The House’ singer, 77, and American rocker, 55, enjoyed a night out at the Chiltern Firehouse luxury hotel and restaurant in Central London on Sunday and although the party was due to finish at 3am, Sir Tom and Axl carried on the revellery till 6am, The Sun claims.

The stars stayed on to watch a boxing match on telly in the bar but “screaming” celebs, who were cheering on opponents Andre Ward and Russian Sergey Kovalev, attracted complaints from locals.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “The music was pumping. There was screaming, with boozy celebs cheering the fight in Las Vegas, which didn’t start until 4.20am UK time.”

“Axl was rooting for the US fighter and wasn’t happy about noise complaints. It wasn’t very rock ’n roll.”

Westminster council officials arrived to shut down the bash – which was also attended by Kate Moss’ ex-husband Jamie Hince – but were ordered to wait outside.

The insider explained: “The bar manager tried to argue it was a private party. The Westminster council officials were made to wait outside by security.

“Management eventually turned the music off but the shouting continued.”

The 77-year-old star said: “I’m rarely in bed before 4am. Sleep until midday, rise for lunch. I’m a nocturnal creature, really.”
