Count Binface coming to Leicester on UK tour
Novelty politician Count Binface is about to embark on a national tour this autumn and outline his MEGA (Make Earth Great Again) plans. The tour will include theatres up and down the country, including in Leicester city centre
In a statement, the tour organisers said: "Hot off the back of the UK’s General Election, Binface will be invading a theatre near you with his brand new live comedy show, featuring his unique take on Britain, his special brand of sci-fi satire, and of course his unbeatable manifesto.
"Cheaper croissants? Check. The nationalisation of Adele? Check. The return of Ceefax? Check. Water bosses to take a dip in UK rivers to see how they like it? CHECK!"

Count Binface, in his former guise as Lord Buckethead, took on Theresa May in the 2017 General Election, which led to appearances at Glastonbury and on the US comedy news show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. He went on to win 69 votes in the 2019 General Election when he took on Boris Johnson.
In 2021 he ran for job of Mayor of London, getting 92,896 votes and finishing in ninth place. In the July General Election this year he came second last - beating Britain First - and won 24,260 votes.
The UK tour will start on Thursday, September 12, and see him visit Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester and Cambridge among others. Count Binface will arrive in Leicester on Thursday, October 3, at the Y Theatre in East Street.
