Country Singer Halle Kearns Marries in 'Southern Dream'-Inspired Wedding in South Carolina (Exclusive)
Kearns and fiancé Kelly Roberson tied the knot surrounded by friends and family on Nov. 10
Halle Kearns is married!
The rising country singer, 26, tied the knot with fiancé Kelly Roberson on Friday in an intimate ceremony at the Colleton Point River House in Bluffton, South Carolina, surrounded by 110 guests.
Kearns, who described the overall aesthetic of the wedding as "a Southern dream," tells PEOPLE she and Roberson wanted a warm-weather location for their autumn nuptials.
"We both hate cold weather, so we wanted to head somewhere warm, and we both dreamed about it being in the Carolinas," she says.
The bride wore a trumpet-style gown by Galia Lahav — a favorite of celebrities including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton — and it seems she has her friend to thank for the stunning look.
"One of my best friends works at a bridal store in Nashville called Dress Theory. She had mistakenly ordered a custom dress for a bride, and the sizing was all incorrect for her. They remembered it was still in the bag, and brought it out for me to try," she explains.
"It fit like a glove, had all of my dream details and was by one of my favorite wedding dress designers," she continues. "We were able to find my dream dress in less than an hour."
Kearns walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Ben Rector's "Love Like This" song. In an interesting twist, the wedding party only included bridesmaids. "We don't have brothers, so [it was] our combined five sisters," she explains.
Roberson's best friend Layton Germann, a youth pastor in Birmingham, Alabama, officiated the ceremony, giving it a personal touch.
After she and Roberson exchanged handwritten vows, the party kicked off at the reception. Guests were treated to a fajita bar with all the fixings for dinner. "Kel and I eat Mexican as our go-to date night, so it was only fitting!" she tells PEOPLE.
Their three-tier carrot wedding cake was made with love by someone special — Roberson's mom — "per Kelly's request," she explains. Dessert also included beignets served up by a local food truck.
"We had no idea it was a thing, but once we did there was no other option," Kearns jokes.

For the couple's first dance, Kearns surprised her new husband with a special song written just for him. Roberson was expecting "Boyfriend" by HARDY, but Kearns' emotional tune "Eleven-Ten" — named for their Nov. 10 wedding date — played instead.
On the eve of the wedding, Kearns and Roberson hosted a welcome party for their guests at a beach bar on nearby Hilton Head Island. "Everyone could gather and celebrate together," she says.
The couple managed to pull off their dream Carolina wedding in record time, as they got engaged less than three months ago on Aug. 26. "It definitely had some pressure-filled moments, but all in all, we wanted to make sure the day was centered around the meaning behind our marriage and not the event," Kearns notes.
Despite the tight timeline, everything went off perfectly, the bride says. "It was sweet and intimate and extremely easy all around," she tells PEOPLE. "There was so much peace surrounding the ceremony, and that’s truly all we could ask for."
"It was also 78 degrees in November, which was a dream!" she adds.

Roberson popped the question as the pair — who met in church — enjoyed a summery excursion on the Cumberland River in his boat. More than 150 of their friends were gathered on the riverbank to watch the romantic moment unfold. Her parents also flew in for the occasion.
Kearns shared a video of the emotional proposal on Instagram last month, writing, "No, I haven’t recovered."
Now that they are officially husband and wife, Roberson and Kearns are looking forward to building their life together. "We truly are better together and so excited for a lifetime of adventures," she says.
A native of Columbia, Missouri, Kearns released her debut EP Finally in 2020, followed by her sophomore effort, Every Girl, in 2020. Her single "Happy in this Bar" has racked up more than 7 million streams globally. Her music video for the track landed her CMT debut.
