Countryfile's Anita Rani's lifestyle change 'is a joy' after split from husband
Anita Rani, the star of Countryfile, has shared a lifestyle change that has brought her "life a joy" following her split from her husband.
The 46-year-old and Bhupi Rehal ended their relationship last year, after being married for 14 years. A source informed the Mirror that the couple had "drifted apart" due to their "hectic schedules".
In a discussion about her daily routine, Anita mentioned that she often wakes up at 5am when she is presenting Woman's Hour at 10am or if she needs to work on scripts. She recently revealed a change in her morning routine for days when she isn't working.

In an interview with Woman and Home magazine, she said: "I'm quite an early riser. My optimum wake-up time is 6.30am, but I'm teaching myself the art of luxuriating in bed at weekends, which is a joy. I am single and stepping into my next chapter of life, so I don't wake up with anyone."
Anita enjoys going for a run after waking up, but she doesn't aim to beat any records or train for a marathon. After her run, she "jumps in the shower," describing her bathroom as "quite luxurious".
Her rigorous morning routine includes drinking a cup of water that is half boiling and half cold, which she likens to a "morning meditation".
Anita also emphasised the importance of getting enough sleep to feel "the most energetic". She aims to be in bed by around 10pm.
Although during the summer, the presenter often finds herself working "until the sun goes down", resulting in a late commute back to her east London home, sometimes as late as 11pm.
Anita has been a part of the Countryfile team since 2015. Prior to that, she appeared on various shows, including Watchdog, Rogue Restaurants, The One Show, and Four Rooms.
Her TV career began as a researcher before transitioning to presenting. She also participated in the 2015 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she was eliminated in 11th place.
Tonight, Anita will join presenter Joe Crowley on Countryfile, showcasing how the residents of Anglesey are contributing to nature conservation. The episode will air on BBC One at 7pm.
