County Durham man accused of chanting racial slurs in London disorder after arrest at Darlington Railway Station
A County Durham man has been convicted of violent disorder for his part in the riots at Whitehall in London on July 31.
Jordan Rawlings was arrested at Darlington railway station on Thursday, August 8.
He was remanded in custody before appearing at Peterlee Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Rawlings had been accused of chanting racial slurs during the disorder in London.
The 25-year-old, of Ritson Avenue, Bearpark, was arrested and charged earlier this week with using threatening words or behaviour that was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress that was racially aggravated.
More than 100 people were arrested following the disorder in Whitehall on Wednesday, July 31, at least 20 of whom have now been charged, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.
