Coventry charity to host Christmas light switch-on event this month
A Coventry charity is hosting its annual Christmas lights switch-on for families this month. Zoe's Place Baby Hospice will bring 'sparkle and shine' to the event on Saturday, November 30.
The gates will open at 3pm, where families can browse the stalls, enjoy delicious food, watch live entertainment, and soak up the festive atmosphere. The lights will be switched on at 5:30pm, with a 'special guest' to make the moment magical, charity bosses say.
There will also be a 'Santa Paws' event from 3pm to 4pm for canine family members, and children can also meet Santa himself in his grotto from 5:30pm to 7pm.

Zoe's Place Baby Hospice supports babies and young children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. The charity provides palliative and respite care for children up to five years old. The charity is also looking for stallholders for the festive event. Stalls are priced at £20, and traders will need to provide their own table, gazebo, and public liability insurance.
The switch-on is a ticketed event with limited spaces. Tickets are £2.50 for adults and free for children. Visit the Enthuse page here to secure a ticket. For those who want to be part of the charity, contact the fundraising team on 024 7636 1675 or email hellocoventry@zoes-place.org.uk to learn more about how you can get involved.
