Coventry cheerleaders Lady G's told 'you were brilliant' at Britain's Got Talent semi-final

Readers have all said the same thing about Coventry's cheerleading squad's performance on Britain's Got Talent - 'you were brilliant'. Lady Grenades were among those in the live semi final of the ITV show last night (May 28).

In fact the squad, who are part of Coventry Dynamite, were the first act last night and presenter Ant McPartlin said: "What a start to the show." The cheerleaders also picked up high praise from the famed TV show panel.

Alesha Dixon praised their 'courage' and said: "You make it look seamless but I know how hard you have worked and it has paid off tonight, you should be really proud.

"Well done girls." Simon Cowell said their performance was their best yet. "This was absolutely on point, the track was great, you filled the stage, the energy was amazing and you must have put so much work into this," he said.

Sadly, the cheerleaders did not make it through to Sunday's live final but their efforts have not gone unrecognised in their home city. CoventryLive readers have reacted with pride.

Many of them took to our page on Facebook, all saying the same thing - 'you were brilliant'.

Linzi Lou posted: "Congratulations they did really well but had strong competition while Neil McDougall said: Absolutely brilliant

Lynne Boyle commented: Well done you were brilliant' and Helen Cowling posted: "Well done. You were all brilliant."

Despite not making the final, the future is looking bright for the squad which was just recently crowned the best in Europe and the third best in the world at the world cheerleading championships in America.
