Coventry City FC opens 'brilliant' new activity zone at CBS Arena

A new Sky Blues-themed activity zone has opened at the Coventry Building Society Arena in Longford. It is located next to the East Stand Fan Village.

Bosses say the new zone will host pre-match family activities and attract fans in the build-up to kick-off at the CBS Arena. It opened on Saturday (January 25) when Coventry City faced off against Watford.

Supporters can also buy Coventry City merchandise at a new retail unit, which will be open every matchday, including next Wednesday (February 5), when they take on Leeds United. It is hoped the new Sky Blues-themed zone will be a 'brilliant' addition to the CBS Arena.

Jodie Jones, Head of Supporter Services and Fan Experience, said: “It represents another important step forward in us creating a brilliant matchday experience for our supporters. Family Zone volunteers do a brilliant job and have done over many years, so to be able to give them a dedicated area is fantastic.”

She added: “We have worked really hard to get this space in place, and it ties into the other improvements that have been made to the matchday experience at the CBS Arena over the last couple of years. We look forward to fans enjoying this space and us continuing the progress that has been made.”
