Coventry pub reopens with new beer garden after summer upgrade

A Coventry pub has announced its reopening after a major upgrade. The Blue Pig pub in Wolvey has undergone a £115,000 transformation.

The investment has been used to upgrade the pub ready for the summer. Renovation work includes a revamped garden area, alongside other updates made externally.

The pub, which boasts '600 years of traditional hospitality' is operated independently by David Hood, who has been at The Blue Pig since 2021.

The pub prides itself in producing home-cooked pub food using local suppliers. Popular dishes at the pub include Faggots, Fish and Chips, Cauliflower Wings and more.

With the investment and upgrades, David said he is looking forward to hosting customers this summer.
