Coventry’s Sports Fest event is set to return for six days of free activities this summer

Coventry’s Sports Fest event is set to return with free activities this summer. The event will feature a wide range of sports and well-being activities for all ages and abilities.

Local sports clubs and organisations will be in attendance, showcasing their skills and offering opportunities to get involved along with sport national governing bodies. Cricket, laser tag, archery, augmented reality games, dance, and table tennis are all on the schedule for the week plus much more.

Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport Councillor Kamran Caan described Sports Fest as a major highlight of Coventry’s summer events calendar and said it was beloved by residents across the city.

“Previous Sports Fest events have attracted thousands of residents and visitors. Make sure you add the dates to your diary and join us in the city centre.”

Chief Operations Officer of event sponsor CV Life Steve Wiles said the company was thrilled to be part of Sports Fest again this year.

“This event promises to be fantastic, and we’re looking forward to seeing many smiling faces and families enjoying the activities. We hope to see a great turnout for a week of free outdoor fun and to get many people active this summer holiday.”

The event, which is held in Broadgate, will take place Tuesday, August 6 until Sunday, August 11 from 10am to 4pm each day.
