Myston Hospice is set to host its Christmas Fayre next month to celebrate 15 years of patient care. The Coventry Myton Hospice Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The fayre is expected to be 'heaps of festive fun' as they celebrate the day since the charity admitted their first patient at Coventry Myton Hospice. The fayre will include festive stalls with gifts, hampers, toiletries, fun games, refreshments, and food for families to enjoy.

There will also be a Myton choir performing festive favourites, a local dance school, and other types of entertainment. Visitors can also try their luck at the gift tombola and meet Father Christmas, who will be there to meet everyone.

Coventry Fundraising and Front of House Lead Claire McDowell said: "We are so excited to be holding our Christmas Fayre again this year on the 15th anniversary of our first patient at Coventry Myton Hospice. Organised and run by our amazing Coventry Support Group, the day is set to be full of festive cheer whilst raising vital funds."

The charity has recently launched an urgent appeal to raise £240,000 to ensure more people in Coventry and Warwickshire can access a hospice bed. The appeal was launched due to ongoing high demand and soaring costs. The money raised will help to fund the recruitment, training, and salary for five registered nurses for a year to help reduce the number of people waiting for a bed,

Myton Hospice is seeking raffle prizes. The team is looking for a TV or games console as the main prize, alongside bottles, toiletries, and small gifts for other prizes. To help the team, contact Claire McDowell at 02475841908 or email claire.mcdowell@mytonhospice.org.
