A wild bear fell into a village well at night time while searching for food in the area of Kothagiri, Indian state of Tamilnadu, on October 17. Locals heard some strange noise coming from the deep hole. They stopped by and noticed that the large animal was trapped inside. After informing the forest department, they decided to rescue the animal by placing a ladder to facilitate its escape. Villagers are seen making noise and using wooden fire torches to scare the animal and make it climb the ladder. Finally, the bear climbs up the well and vanishes into the wild.
