SINGAPORE – The Watsons, McDonald’s and FairPrice outlets at Hillion Mall, as well as Mr Teh Tarik deli at the Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub were among the new destinations added on Thursday (30 July) to the list of places visited by COVID-19 cases during their infectious period.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a news release.

The list – which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport – will be updated on a rolling 14-day basis or one incubation period. First published on 25 May, the list compiles places visited by infectious cases in the community for over 30 minutes.

On the same day, the MOH confirmed 278 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore, taking the total to 51,809.
