COVID-19 tests for foreign lorry drivers staying in England for more than two days

Lorry drivers arriving in England will need to take a COVID-19 test within 48 hours and one every 72 hours afterwards, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has announced.

The measure, which will apply to hauliers from outside the UK and Ireland, will come into force on 6 April.

Mr Shapps wrote on Twitter: "This is to ensure we keep track of any future coronavirus variants of concern."
