Cow Trapped in Backyard Swimming Pool 'Mooved' to Safety in New South Wales

A cow trapped in a backyard swimming pool in Gilgandra, New South Wales, was ‘mooved’ to safety by local State Emergency Service volunteers on April 3.

The Gilgandra SES Unit, which took this video, said the animal was coaxed from the pool.

The footage shows the cow standing neck-deep in the swimming pool.

“We were very happy with how the rescue went and we’re lucky we didn’t have to use a crane,” Geoff Kiehne, SES Commander for the Gilgandra Unit, told nine.com.au. Credit: NSW State Emergency Service via Storyful
