Cowardly driver leaves innocent woman seriously hurt in Yeadon crash
A driver of a stolen car fled the scene after crashing and seriously hurting an elderly woman. West Yorkshire Police are now appealing for witnesses.
A 77-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when a white Vauxhall Corsa smashed into a silver Citroen DS5. She was a passenger in the Citroen and the Corsa was stolen.
It happened just after 2pm on Thursday, November 21, in Cemetery Road, Yeadon, Leeds, at the junction with Haw Lane. The woman was rushed to hospital where she stayed for several days and is now continuing to recover from her injuries at home.

The driver of the Corsa and another man fled the scene, making off in an old white Seat Leon that picked them up before the emergency crews arrived. The Corsa was subsequently reported as being stolen in a burglary in Manor Close, Yeadon.
A 34-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have been arrested as part of the investigation and have been released under investigation.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the Vauxhall Corsa or the Seat Leon being driven in the area in the time surrounding the crash, particularly anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.
