Craig David Covers Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ In The Live Lounge

After far too long away, Craig David is making an epic comeback, taking over the internet with his cover of Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’.

Craig absolutely blew us away when he put his own spin on Bieber’s Purpose track in BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Live Lounge.

In fact, his cover was so ruddy brilliant, we’ll be hitting the re-e-wind button and listening to it on repeat for the next 7 Days. Maybe weeping a little bit with joy, too.

Giving the track his own garage twist, Craig upped the tempo and added a rap verse before the final chorus.

It goes without saying that his vocals were on fire too, with the cover sending social media users crazy.

One, for example, wrote: “Craig David’s version of Love Yourself is perfect”.

Another tweeted: “I believe that @CraigDavid version of love yourself was possibly made for me. Best cover I’ve ever heard…better than the original”.
