Craig Revel Horwood gave a cutting remark of "who is she? " as he delivered his candid take on this year's line-up for Strictly Come Dancing.

The quintessential Strictly judge will be gracing the panel again when the 22nd series launches next month, featuring celebs such as BBC's own Nick Knowles, former England footballer Paul Merson, and Olympian Sam Quek, all vying for the coveted glitter ball trophy.

However, it was ex-Love Island star Tasha Ghouri who received a sharp retort from Craig during an interview with Radio 2's Scott Mills. Eager to hear Craig's first impressions, Scott asked him to score each contestant out of 10, despite not having seen them dance yet.

Embracing the speculative nature of the task, Craig cast his predictions handing JLS star JB Gill a decent seven.

Yet, not everyone was so lucky in his estimations, with opera singer and the face of Go Compare adverts, Wynne Evans being slated with a mere one, reports the Express.

But the harshest of Craig's critiques was reserved for former Love Island participant Tasha, bluntly questioning "Who is she? " when her name came up.

Taken aback, Scott clarified that Tasha was an "influencer", prompting Craig to quip back: "Oh influencer, of course. She looks tall, she might be good at ballroom - five."

Pop star Toyah Wilcox has been identified as Craig's early favourite. The star expressed: "She's fabulous, she's going to be a nine."

Throughout his 20-year tenure on the show, 59 year old Craig has earned a reputation for his harsh critiques and low scores. He holds the record for giving the most ones throughout the series.

Upon being announced as a Strictly contestant, Tasha exclaimed: "Pinch me, I can't believe I'm going to be on Strictly Come Dancing! I've been watching the show since I was little it's a firm Ghouri family favourite - so this is a total dream come true.

"I know it's going to be an unforgettable experience and I hope to represent and make everyone proud out on that dance floor."
