Craig Revel Horwood has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 56-year-old TV star is now self-isolating after testing positive for the virus, meaning he's set to miss 'Strictly Come Dancing' at the weekend.

A 'Strictly' spokesperson explained: "Craig Revel Horwood has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines."

However, it's still hoped that Craig will return to the BBC show before the end of the month.

The spokesperson added: "While Craig will not be taking part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' this weekend, all being well he will return the following week."

Rylan Clark-Neal has also discussed the situation on 'Strictly: It Takes Two'.

He said: "Craig, we're sending you all of our love and we can't wait to see you really soon."

Craig appeared on 'Strictly' over the weekend, when he opted to save Tilly Ramsay over Sara Davies in the dreaded dance-off.

The outspoken judge explained that Tilly and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin did just enough to save themselves from elimination.

He said: "This is a really difficult decision because I gave both couples on Saturday night a ‘seven’.

"So very, very equal, which made the decision even more difficult, but I think for me, the couple that stood out a little bit more and had the edge: Tilly and Nikita."

And despite her early exit, Sara insisted she loved her time on the BBC show.

She said: "I had no idea any of this was in me. It’s been a life-changing experience, one I’ve loved every second of."

Aljaz Skorjanec also praised the efforts of his dance partner.

He told Sara: "Thank you for letting me spend so much time not just with you, but with the whole family, the Davieses that are here tonight, all of the little ones at home.

"I’ve been so welcomed up north, it made me feel like I’m back home in Slovenia because everyone is so lovely and friendly.

"I’m going to miss you so much."
