'Get That Crap Outta Here': Buccaneers Fan Delivers Tom Brady Tirade

The news that Tom Brady was to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came as a hammer blow to at least one Bucs fan on March 17.

As the move became public knowledge, Buccaneers superfan Anderson McCant was filmed by his son, Justin, as he delivered a tirade targeting Bucs management as well as the aging quarterback, who won six Super Bowls during his 19-year stint with the New England Patriots.

Originally from Florida, but now living in Covington, Georgia, McCant was annoyed at the team’s decision to dispense with the services of quarterback Jameis Winston.

His son’s video shows him packing up his Buccaneers merchandise and throwing the lot outside, while saying “get that crap outta here,” before adding “it’s all about Jameis baby, all about Jameis.” He also complains that the move “is the end of the world.”

Speaking with Storyful, Justin McCant said, “My dad is a longtime Buccaneers fan. When he heard that Tom Brady was coming to Tampa Bay, he did not take kindly to that news. He doesn’t like the fact that Brady is an older quarterback and believes he’s on the decline of his career. He prefers Jameis Winston.”

The superfan’s son did add, though, that his father “has calmed down a bit since.” While “he still thinks Jameis has a bright future in the NFL … he’s willing to give Brady a chance.” Credit: Justin McCant via Storyful
