Crash blocks A505 near McDonald's roundabout in Duxford causing delays

A crash left a Cambridgeshire A-road partially blocked on Saturday (October 5). Traffic was queuing on the A505 westbound in Duxford after a crash on Hill Farm Road.

Traffic data company Inrix reported the incident just after 11.30am on Saturday, stating: "The A505 westbound is partially blocked, with queueing traffic due to an accident at Hill Farm Road.

"There is congestion to the McDonald's roundabout. The crash happened just before the M11 J10 interchange."

A Stagecoach East spokesperson said: "Cambridge City 7: Due to heavy congestion around Duxford, please expect delays. We are unable to serve Moorfield Road heading towards Cambridge.

"Please use the nearest stop on Ickleton Road."
