Crash involving car and bus causes lengthy delays on busy roundabout
A CRASH involving a car and a bus caused delays on a busy roundabout on Monday afternoon.
Dorset Police said it received a report at 12.06pm on Monday, March 27, of a collision involving a car and a bus at the Somerford roundabout on the A35 Christchurch Bypass.
Officers attended, along with the ambulance and fire services.
Police said there was no information relating to any injuries at this time.
The road was blocked in the eastbound direction near Sainsbury’s as a result of the crash, causing long queues.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “We were called to the A35 at Somerford roundabout at 12.22pm today following reports of a road traffic collision.
“One crew from Christchurch attended but were not required, so our stop was at 12.42pm.”
