Crawley police hunting group of men who pushed man up against wall and 'demanded belongings'
Police are searching for a group of men who pushed a man up against a wall while he was out walking in Crawley and demanded he handed over his personal belongings. The victim was out in Ifield when the group, including a man with a dog, approached him.
He managed to get away without handing anything over and was uninjured. The worrying incident occurred in the vicinity of Bittern Close and Fairway between 7.30pm and 7.50pm on December 21.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said officers have so far been unable to locate or identify any of the the suspects through enquiries, and are now seeking assistance from any witnesses or anyone with any video footage of the incident. Anyone with information which could help with the investigation should call 101, quoting crime reference 47240248691.
