Crawley will start their League Two campaign with the longest trip of the season.

They go to Carlisle United on Saturday, July 30.

There are also treks to Harrogate, Rochdale, Salford, Crewe and Doncaster in the first two months.

But there is some relatively local rivalry to look forward to in their first home game when Leyton Orient visit on August 6.

League Two continues through November and December, when the World Cup is in progress.

Crawley are home to Sutton on Boxing Day and go to Newport County on New Year’s Day.

They end the season at Swindon on May 6 Crawley will complete their build-up to the League Two season with a trip to Aldershot.

Reds have confirmed three more friendly fixtures to follow the opener at Eastbourne Borough a week on Saturday (3pm).

Borough has already announced the game at Priory Lane.

It will be Kevin Betsy’s first in charge of Crawley as they take on a side who last season reached the Vanarama National League south promotion play-offs.

Reds are away to East Grinstead Town on Monday, July 11 (7.30pm).

They return to the OHOB Community Stadium on Tuesday, July 19 to take on Charlton Athletic under-23s (7.30pm).

Crawley end their pre-season campaign away at Aldershot Town on Saturday, July 23 (3pm).

More friendlies will be added to the pre-season calendar.
