'Crazy Stuff!' Sheets of Ice Cover Texas Parking Lot Amid Freezing Weather

Ice covered parts of north-central Texas on Tuesday, January 31, amid ongoing freezing conditions in the region, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Footage captured by Jennifer Touma shows ice covering a parking lot in Carrollton, a suburb of Dallas, on Tuesday morning.

“This is some crazy stuff!” Touma said, adding that the area was “all ice” as she came into work.

Isolated thunderstorms with “bursts of accumulating sleet and freezing rain” were forecast for Tuesday morning, the NWS said. Credit: Jennifer Touma via Storyful
