How to create a Cat Woman costume using just glitter make-up

Forget the scary costumes and the 'sexy costumes'.

It's time to focus on perfecting your make-up and making the most of glitter.

Go Get Glitter is a London-based specialised face and body art company you need to know about for Halloween.

In the video above, the team show you how to create a Cat Woman look using glitter and face jewels.

Here are some quick and easy steps to follow:

1. Start by applying your base makeup. Keep it light and simple, the glitter is going to be the focus of the look, and you don't want to over do it. You can do a smokey eye if you're feeling more daring.

2. Carefully peel off the jewel from the clear sheet, and stick above the eyebrow. Make sure to line up the centre jewel with the arch of the eyebrow. Repeat on the other side. Take the smaller jewel pieces and apply to the corner of both eyes. Hold down for 15 seconds to make sure the jewels are completely stuck.

3. Using our Chunky Glitter sets, carefully dip a small brush into the water soluble glue and apply in a 'U' shape under the eyes, going from the inner corner, to above the ear. Then dip the brush into the darkest colour glitter and apply by patting the glitter onto to sticky area.

The key is to use only a tiny amount of glue, you want the area to be sticky NOT wet, otherwise the glitter won't stick properly. Using the brush, drag the glitter downwards to create a waterfall effect. Then repeat with a lighter colour, keep dragging the glitter downwards, you can choose how far down to go depending on how dramatic you want the look.

4. When you've finished, use our Iridescent Chunky Glitter to blend the edges. You'll see that this makes all the difference, and completes the look in a professional way.

5. Finally, apply mascara and a lipstick of your choice... we would recommend a nude lip if you're looking to keep it subtle, but why not try red if you're feeling more bold? It's as easy as that... create an amazing Halloween look in just five simple steps.

When it comes to taking it off, just peel the sticker gently away from the skin. The glitter is easily removable with just water, so don't worry about going into work on Monday looking like a glitter ball.

Top tip: Remove with water only, don't use a makeup wipe... it comes off much better.
