Creative bakers spice up steamed buns with colourful floral decorations

Creative bakers used dough to make colourful flowers on steamed buns in eastern China. The cool video, shot in the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province on April 23, shows bakers boiling pumpkin, spinach and Asian pigeonwings with water and then mixing it with flour to make the colourful dough. The colourful dough was then made into flowers and placed on top of the steamed buns. The baker named Tang Siyue came up with the idea to make colourful flowers out of dough and decorated them onto buns to welcome the coming of spring. The video was provided by local media with permission.
