A Creme Egg camp is about to pop up in London

If you're anything like us, you've probably already eaten a dozen or so Creme Eggs already this January. We can't blame you; they're a delight, even if they do guarantee a sugar coma.

To celebrate the return of the Cadbury Creme Egg hunting season (Easter, basically), some clever marketing types have come up with an ingenious idea to bleed your bank balance dry: a Creme Egg camp.

Open from January 19, the egg-citeing (their pun, not ours) pop-up will be setting up shop inside London's Old Street tube for five weeks of nonsensical eggtastic fun. Think hunting down a rare white chocolate Cadbury Creme Egg, getting lost in a magical forest and shacking up in a tree house.

Entry costs £5, but get this: all of the proceeds raised go to youth charity The Prince's Trust. See, there is some good in these never ending pop-ups after all.

Luckily for you and your already bulging post-Christmas tummy, the ticket price includes a choice of your own Creme Egg treat, too. Choose from a moreish Creme Egg cookie, a delectable Creme Egg cake, a Creme Egg toastie (it literally has melted Creme Egg all over it) or a Creme egg 'fongoo' – melted chocolate and breadsticks, basically. Imagine KP choc dips, but much better.

It's corny, but how will you eat yours? Tell all by tweeting us @esgolondon.

The Creme Egg Camp will be open Fri Jan 19-Feb 18 at 288 Old St, EC1V 9LA. For more information, visit the event page.
