Crews Battle Cave Fire Burning Near Santa Barbara

Fire crews were battling a blaze on Tuesday, November 26, that sparked in the Santa Ynez Mountains in Santa Barbara County, California, on Monday night, officials said.

Local media said the blaze, near Santa Barbara and Goleta, grew “quickly” overnight and had “exploded” to 4,100 acres with no containment.

Some residents in southern Santa Barbara County lost power and an evacuation boundary was issued for houses near the blaze, Santa Barbara County said on Twitter.
