Crews battle shed fire on Warwick Avenue
Firefighters rushed to a property in Clayton-le-Moors after a shed fire broke out last night.
On Friday, December 9, firefighters were called out to Warwick Avenue to tackle the blaze that had a shed up in flames.
Two fire engine from Hyndburn attended the shed fire at around 7.40pm. Firefighters used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the blaze. They were at the scene for approximately 40 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 7.41pm on the December 9, two fire engines from Hyndburn attended a shed fire on Warwick Avenue, Clayton-le-Moors.
“Firefighters used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.”
