Crews Break up Ice Jam That Had Stranded Residents in Union County, Pennsylvania

Crews cleared an ice jam in Millmont, Pennsylvania, on January 17, after it caused flooding and cut off access to some areas, Union County PA Emergency Management said.

Penn Live reported that the jam was broken at around 10 am on Wednesday, prompting water to recede off state and local roads. Some 600 residents in western Union County had been effectively stranded due to the flooding, the outlet reported. Credit: Union County PA Emergency Management via Storyful
