Crews Tackle Mudslide in Ventura County as Heavy Rain Continues in California

Crews in Southern California tackled multiple mudslides in the region on Sunday, February 4, as a severe storm brought heavy rain to the area, local media reported.

This footage was released by Caltrans District 7, which said it was filmed near Rose Valley Road in Ojai, Ventura County, on Sunday afternoon. “Please avoid all non-essential travel,” they wrote in the post.

On Sunday, California Gov Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency for the region due to the ongoing storm.
