Criminal damage to house windows and cars in Boston sees police investigation launched

Incidents of criminal damage to house windows and two cars has been reported in Boston. Lincolnshire Police are investigating the damage which is believed to have occurred between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday, January 16 on Kitwood Road.

Officers have retrieved a ball bearing from the scene, which is understood to have been used to cause the damage. The investigation remains ongoing, and officers will be conducting house-to-house enquiries in the area on Friday, January 17.

An update from the force, posted on its website at 12.03pm this afternoon, states: "Officers are investigating reports of criminal damage to house windows and two cars on Kitwood Road in Boston which occurred yesterday evening, Thursday 16 January, between 6pm and 7pm.

"We have retrieved a ball bearing from the scene which we believe to be responsible for the damage. Inquiries remain ongoing. Officers will be conducting house to house enquiries in the vicinity today."

It adds: "We are appealing for any information that may assist our inquiries, as well as any dashcam or doorbell footage that may have captured anything of note from the time of the incident. If you saw or heard anything of note, or have any information at all that could help our investigation, please contact us."
