New Yorkers Treated to Stunning 'Candy Floss' Sunset

New Yorkers were stopped in their tracks Tuesday evening, July 26, as the setting sun splashed colors across the Manhattan skyline.

This video was taken by Rob McDonagh as he watched the sun go down in north Brooklyn between 8:20 and 8:40 pm.

“The colors shifted between pinks, creams, oranges and reds in an almost imperceptible way,” McDonagh told Storyful. “It almost resembled candy floss at times,” he added. Credit: Rob McDonagh via Storyful
